Little Fox Charity Craft Fair; ONE WEEK TO GO! (Quick Read)

Hello again everyone! In case you've not seen my previous blogs or other social media posts, I will be attending the Little Fox Charity Craft Fair on July 6th, where you can come and buy my work in person. This will include my Fantasy Fungus art prints, a few prints of York Minster, art cards....even stickers (which you may have seen a sneak peek of on my Instagram/Facebook). Prices will be set on the day, and there will be the option to pay cash or card, provided the cash amount is exact, as I will have limited change. It'll be me and the husband Jake tending the stall, and I plan to be there for as much as possible on the day, wee and food breaks permitting.

I look back and wonder why I haven't done an art fair in the past, as I've been doing this art thing now for several years, and I suspect it was down to confidence, time and not having enough stock, since I used to only do paintings, and they take forever to make! It'll still be a little nerve-wracking, but I'm genuinely looking forward to it. And maybe I'll get to chat to other artists and creatives as well.....so win win!

I've had a look at their recent updates, and while no specific charity has been announced yet, it's all in the theme of Pride. While I'm not LGBTQ+ myself, I consider myself an ally, so will be happy to support fellow creatives of that community at the same time I'm putting my own work out there.

After this event, you may be asking if I'm planning on doing any more this year! Well, I'm certainly going to try! I'm unsure of availability throughout the summer, but I'm keeping my peepers peeled on Autumn events, as that season is just perfect for selling mushroom and forest core art. Should anyone have any recommendations, please let me know.

FINALLY.....my Etsy store is due to go on a temporary pause with effect from 5pm tomorrow, so if you're unable to come to the Leeds Fair, you're interested in buying my art but don't want to wait until July 7th, I suggest you put in your order now by clicking here!
