Merry Crit-mas, and other festive puns! D&D Inspired Christmas Cards Available NOW! 🎄

Okay okay, I know! It's been ages since my last blog post.....again! I must apologise! I'll be honest and say that since my last craft fair, I've not been too busy with my art stuff, as I have the day job and real life stuff to deal with, including trying to resolve the last of the straggler bills from when we were still living in York! However, despite all of this, I have somehow still managed to create something for the festive season! I'd have ideally finished it for mid-late November, but last month just seemed to fly by!

If you've been following me on my Instagram, you'll have seen it already, but as of now, I can proudly say that I've updated my Etsy to show my newest listing; my D&D Inspired Christmas Cards!

They're all unique in their own little way, and I reckon it'll be fun to provide some context for each, as it's good fun:

1. 'Choco-mancy!' - A red robed wizard who loves hot chocolate used his cauldron to make the most magical hot choc ever! 🧙🏻‍♂️

2. 'Christ-mush Time!' - Druids love mushrooms, so much so, that they now have a Christmas Tree shaped one! It's so big, it topples over the homes of the gnomes in the local village! 🎄

3. 'Merry Crit-mas!' - A pair of owl bear cubs enjoy a festive day of gaming, and even bring their own D20 along! 🐻

4. 'Not a Merry Mimic!' - Everyone loves presents at Christmas, but it's the perfect time for bitter mimics to pretend to be a gift for an unsuspecting adventurer! 🎁

I hope you like them as much as I do, as they were great fun to make, and I definitely see myself making more in the future, whether it's for Christmas, birthdays or other occasions. They're all A5 sized, come with ivory coloured envelopes, and will be available until December 22nd! You can buy them individually, or as a full set of 4! 💗

You may have also noticed that my Fantasy Fungus Prints and Fungi Collective Art Cards have reappeared, so I want to confirm that this isn't in error. Like the Christmas cards, they are active for a limited time during December, so if you've been struggling to find someone a gift, and they're a fan of mystical mushrooms, fantasy art, or something a bit different, then maybe this could be the gift for them! Plus, it's much more unique than anything you'll find on Amazon, and you'll be supporting an independent artist at the same time! Win win!

They're back, baby! Well, until December 22nd at least! 🍄

So yeah, in short, life got in the way, but I still made the things, and my Etsy store is now packed with goodies again! I am planning to do a final blog post for 2025 once Christmas Day is done, mainly so I can look back and thank all the people who've supported me this year. It's the best year I've ever had for getting my art out there, and being able to sell it worldwide, so a full blog post is required for something on that scale, for sure! I imagine I'll post it during that odd week between Christmas and New Years where no-one remembers what day it is, so keep a look out for that.
