Coffee, Art Fairs and Non-Mushroom Prints: A Sneak Peek at July

Hello everyone! It's that time again, every second Sunday, where I make a blog post! I'll be treating this one more like a general update, as there's been a few things going on since my last post, and June's social calendar always seems to fill up quickly. It always comes a surprise, but hey, it's life sometimes, isn't it?

To start with, just a reminder that some of my Fantasy Fungus Prints are still available to buy on my Etsy Store, however I will be putting a pause on all orders the week leading up to the Art Fair in Leeds. This is so I'm not having to quickly source additional copies from the prints on the days leading up to it, so if you're still keen to get one, I suggest you do it before 30th June! Secondly, as well as having my mushroom art available to buy online, I've recently discovered a way that I can reproduce previous acrylic paintings as high quality art prints that are made to order, so it takes out some hassle on my end. It's all pretty exciting, but as it's a new process, I'll be starting with just two of my favourites from the past few years; 'York Minster in Autumn (2018)' and 'Port Macquarie at Sunset (2020)', and will see how it goes from there. They're available to purchase via my Etsy Store now (see below), so go have a look if you're keen on getting a hold of some of my other works. Also, if you think another one of my previous paintings would work well as a print, please leave a comment on this blog post so I can consider it in the future.

Finally, I'm trying something else that's new, which is called 'Buy me a coffee!' Similar to Patreon, it's a platform where you can make smaller contributions to help an independent artist like me, which can help in a number of ways. From buying a coffee to get me through a day of making new pictures, all the way to helping cover the costs of art supplies and art fair table hires, a little goes a long way. If you can't afford the art itself, it allows you to just contribute what you can, which I think is quite good in the current climate we find ourselves in. The link to my own page in below, should you be interested in supporting me in this way.

I think that's all I need to share for now. I will be doing an extra post next Sunday ahead of the Little Fox Craft Fair in Leeds, so keep an eye out for that. It will include some sneak peeks at all the works that I'll be selling on the day, as well as some information about other sellers, the chosen charity, and more!

Until then, I wish you all well going into next week!
